Kathryn C. Wallace is a Colorado native, who grew up in Jefferson County. She started her career in public service, working for the State of Colorado.
“I am proud to say that one of my early titles was Administrative Clerk. In a way, I’ve been a clerk ever since.”
Kathryn spent the last several years working in the private sector. She has worked with a number of clients in various industries. This gives her a broad perspective of how information is managed in small, large, public and private organizations. Currently, she is working as a software engineer for a large multi-national company.
Kathryn stays involved with her community by belonging to groups like the Colorado Business Women and Arvada Jefferson Kiwanis, and by attending community meetings.
Kathryn brings a high level of technical expertise to all her endeavors. But she never forgets the purpose behind the technology.
“We all manage information, in our daily lives, in our churches and clubs, and in our business. I just get to use some really great tools when I do these things.”
Kathryn is ready to bring her skills and talents back into the public sector, by running for office. She is running for clerk and recorder because it’s such a good fit.
“This office is a perfect combination of the things that matter to me: managing information, serving the public, and promoting the democratic process”
